Artist's Soul

To be an artist, one must feel, to the point you feel to much.

Poetry

This page is dedicated to some poems I wrote as a teen and similar pieces.

CALI
California, we're so pretty
Golden sun, golden sand, Hollywood money
But drenched in beauty makes it hard
For someone average to make it large
Walk to school, girls covered in makeup
Guys walking 'round like that got "the swagger"
Are we living in a fictional world?
Where we try to be the perfect supporting role
We say we're different, but each one of us
You know is influenced by the Cali Golden Sun.

Celebrities, music, all things where we live
We've become to buried in all things fabulous
Growing up, get the love, I know emotions fake
Who's real, who's not, all just a lying game
Actors, actresses, we're all wishing we're movies
Cause surrounded by perfection means you've got high standards of beauty.
